OVERVIEW
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES (BOT) - 36 Members plus Ex-Officio Trustees:
The Executive Committee, General Board members, and Ex-Officio Trustees, comprise the voting body of the BOT of MHA/FYOS.
MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
- Develop and implement plans
- Encourage committee participation and attract new volunteers
- Define needs and short/long term strategies to meet goals
- Foster innovative ideas and programming
- Follow through on projects and volunteers
- Evaluate finished events/projects
- Follow up on thank-you's
- Maintain and support overall MHA/FYOS mission and vision
- Maintain communication - no surprises!
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Represent the school's best interests, not that of any individual group or constituency
